Writer's Block: Stories of old

Who is your favorite mythical creature/character, and why?

Well, I tend to be fascinated with gods or goddesses of the moon. This probably is rooted in my love with the show Sailor Moon. And for magical creature it is so difficult! I'm rather partial to phoenixes or dragons I suppose. I'll have to edit this later with more rambling. :D

Writer's Block: Around the world

Which book that you've read would make a great movie, and why? Who would you pick to play the main characters?

Well, if it has to be a supposedly *real* place, I am highly interested in going to Japan. However, I am also just as interested in seeing a lot of places in Europe.

Now, if we get into fictional places...I must say that it's a tie between Hogwarts and Kaeleer. <3

Writer's Block: You're my best friend

If you could shrink any animal down to miniature size and carry it around in your pocket, which animal would you choose?

Such a hard choice. *pout* Well, it doesn't say *real* animal. So, perhaps a dragon or a turtleduck. <3

Writer's Block: Round and round

Is there any song you could listen to 20 times in a day without ever losing interest?

Lol, yes. There are lots of those. At the moment it would probably be When Will My Life Begin? from Tangled.

Writer's Block: Sweat it out

Should physical education in schools be mandatory, and why?

As much as I hate to say it  . . . I do think that P.E. should be mandatory in schools. It is a great way to raise endorphins and thus happiness. It helps little children burn off excess energy. And frankly, in high school I wouldn't have gotten any exercise if I hadn't had P.E.  Which I didn't for my last two years . . . . and I gained a ton of weight. Face it, exercise is important.

Writer's Block: Connecting the dots

How do you feel about standardized tests? Do you think they accurately indicate a student's knowledge or ability?

I think that standardized testing has it's benefits and if faults.  I think that they are necessary mile-markers so that teachers and students know where a student is at and what they need to work on. There is a simple fact to be considered though, and that is that some students simply don't test well. In this way I don't think that standardized tests are able to accurately measure the ability of all students. Because of this I don't think that a student's ability to pass or fail should be dependent on their standardized test scores, but rather on how they do cumulatively.

Writer's Block: The kindness of strangers

If someone insults you when you're walking down the street, what do you do?

To be honest . . . I probably wouldn't even notice that they had said anything. I have this thing where I put myself on autopilot while walking and my mind starts daydreaming and whatnot. I tune out unimportant things like people talking to me unless I'm walking with someone on purpose and talking to them. So random stranger insults are kind of lost on me. ^^;

Writer's Block: I'm in love with my car

If you could have any car in the world, what would it be?

I've never been one for driving; in fact, I quite dislike it. However, I do love going to car shows where older models are shown. It seems to me that cars were a sort of art form back then and I really like the way they look. I'd own one of them if given the opportunity.

Writer's Block: The winning ticket

What would be your first purchase if you won the lottery?

Probably a book of some sort. Then I would pay off loans from my college education thus far and put away enough money to pay for the rest of it.

Writer's Block: The name game

What's the origin of your username? If you could change it to anything else, would you, and what would it be?

Well, I wanted something related to Padfoot from Harry Potter . . . and I like alliteration. . . thus: PadfootsPuppy.

I wouldn't change it, but if I did it would probably be SumomoBlossom, which is another name that I use elsewhere. Origin: Sumomo = Plum (I like plums and it's a Chobits reference) Blossom= tie back to my ff.n name Blossom of Death (the fanfiction I posted isn't really good, but I'll never take it down. Ah, memories)
